What License management does
License management keeps your plan status honest and self-serve. The License tab shows where you stand — Free, capped at 2,000 entries and 50 topics, or Pro, which lifts those caps and unlocks encrypted vault transfer. Pro is a one-time, device-based license sold through Lemon Squeezy, so unlocking your own memory is a single purchase rather than a recurring subscription.
The same tab handles the whole lifecycle. Activate a device to apply your license, validate to confirm it is still in good standing, and deactivate to free the seat when you move to a new machine. Free mode never stops working, so a lapsed or transferred license leaves your vault fully readable — you simply return to the free caps.
