Overview

What Import Conversations From Your AI Tools does

Pull existing chat history from Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, Codex, plus ChatGPT and Claude.ai via the paired browser extension. A live watcher keeps new sessions flowing into the vault as they happen.

The most useful context for your AI tools already exists — it's locked in your past conversations. Importers turn those chat histories into searchable, classifiable memories instead of leaving them stranded.

FAQ

Common questions

Where does the browser extension run?

Locally. The extension captures the conversation in your browser and POSTs it to a receiver on `127.0.0.1:54330`. Nothing transits a remote server.

Will the importer touch the original session files?

No. The importers read from `~/.claude/projects/` and the equivalent paths for the other clients, but they don't modify the source files.

Local memory, shared everywhere
